Faith Lutheran Church of East Whittier is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Since its beginning in 1952, our people have been dedicated to the proclamation of the Gospel striving to accomplish that through worship, education, evangelism and active service.
We offer a variety of worship experiences from a traditional liturgical worship, to a Celebration and Praise worship each Sunday, and a youth lead service once each quarter. Two additional ministries use our facilities, a Hispanic Ministry, and an Arabic Ministry.
Being progressive in educating our youth and true to our Lutheran heritage, we have a Christian day school. Since its beginning in 1961, the school, which currently has a preschool and a kindergarten through eighth grade, has been graduating students who have academically excelled at the high school and university levels, but of more importance, who have been trained up to be good citizens and who know their Lord Jesus Christ.
Being service minded, the congregation promotes the spreading of the Gospel through service organizations such as the Lutheran Women in Mission (LWM), the Lutheran Braille Workers, and the Lutheran Laymen’s League.
Being true to our mission statement to bring people to Christ by proclaiming the Gospel through worship, education, evangelism and active service, we invite you to “Come and see.” Let us introduce you to the One who will make a difference in your life, Jesus Christ.
